Seeking highly motivated, experienced instructional leader for this K-8 school.  As a Turnaround Leadership Pathways (TLP) school, candidates with experience as a principal is preferred.  Applicants should have experience leading in a diverse setting as well as increasing and sustaining high levels of student achievement.  This position requires the ability to build a strong school culture and ability to utilize a variety of stakeholder inputs in final resolution.  Additionally, must have the ability to develop systems of support for teacher development and systems for providing ongoing observation and feedback are necessary.  Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to utilize various data sources is critical.  Experience in an Elementary, Middle, or K-8 school is preferred.

Asst. Dept. Manager, Communications, Area. Support - (4 positions for July 1, 2017)

The Assistant Department Manager, District Divisions Communications, will work under the direction of the Department Manager, Marketing to implement marketing plans that help the District achieve its strategic objectives. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

     Works with various schools in the two assigned areas to create and manage marketing plans to retain students and grown enrollments.

     Identifies and creates content from the two assigned areas to be used by the District in the appropriate communications channel, such as video, digital, Newsdesk, etc.

     Supports efforts to review and develop plans to update the District's current branding- including the District name, tagline, visual identity, etc. 

Professional qualifications include: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully. 

Education: A Master's Degree. Degree or formal training in Administration, Communications or Marketing preferred. 

Experience: Two years of increasingly responsible experience in Administration, Communications or Marketing related field, with two years of related management or supervisory experience preferred.  Experience in public school administration, public school district administration, or other large diverse organizations preferred. Verified administration, communications or marketing experience may be substituted for the Master's education requirement on a basis of two years’ experience for each year of the educational requirement.
